I want a good drop leg holster for my full size 1911 (with a rail) and the surefire X200 light. Is there such a thing? I looked at blackhawk and a few others and did not find it. If there is a place to take the light off and store it on the holster that is a close secound.  I do alot of walking in the woods (and riding ATV) While I'm huntig and like a side arm. I Find this type of holster most comfortable. Thanks for all your help.

I have an Eagle Industires SAS MK V that has done quite well for me.

Blade Tech makes some fantastic drop leg holsters for railed 1911s with lights.  They can make a holster for pretty much anything.  I've got a drop-leg holster for my USP Match and a drop and offset for my TLE/RL.

Safariland 6004 or 6005 (5340) will fit with the X200 light. The only difference between the two is the 6005 is detachable without removing your belt.

+1  The Safariland 6000 series are the ones that all others are judged by!

I have herd that Safariland 6004 was the cats ass. The only thing that has held me back is I have herd they take the finish off fast. I will use it maybe two dozen times a year on long woodland outings. I have a warrior and the finish is thick looking, maybe it would hold up. What do you think?

My brother uses a 6004, but he has a stainless pistol. The indise seems very soft to me, though.
