Can you confirm for me whether or not the knuckle of your middle finger rubs on the holster just behind the trigger guard during a draw?

I wear size L gloves and have skinny fingers.  I had the opportunity to check out a similar holster (not VMII, but similar design) and my knuckle rubs during draw.  I can't quite get a full firing grip because of this.

Is this common with the VMII design for the 1911?

FYI that I have VMII's (actual Milt Sparks holsters) for a G26 and G19 and have not had this problem.  In fact those holsters have a fantastic draw.

Thanks,

Corey

Yes, that's exactly what mine looks like.  I will try some training to deal with it.  Perhaps it is a non-issue.

Thanks,

Corey
