Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Do new Glock mags have date stamps?

I live in a AWB state and someone at my gun club is selling several Glock mags.  They are in suspiciously like new condition, but they do not have any dates on them.  I want new mags but I do not want to get in any trouble.

They don't have dates but there are markings and characteristics which denote if they are a true preban mag or not.

I've heard this is the case.  IIRC, the caliber markings on the new ones are higher than the pre-ban ones.  Don't quote me on that, but perhaps somebody can confirm this.
