My Springer Stainless before-

Now I like my 1911..but I'm a sucker for 2 tones. Hence I whipped out the sand booth, airbrush and the Norrell's.

The slide was lightly sandblasted and re-finished with Norrell's flat black. I'm thinking of trying their Semi-glossy on it next. What say the hive?

Beautiful!! I'd also like to see the semi-glossy, but it looks great as is.

Thanks!!..I do not know if the beavertail is a S&A or not..it was on the gun when I got it. I did a trade at a gun show for it..

I remember when the Colt Combat Elite came out, I liked it a lot.

Then Arnie used a two tone .45 in Terminator 2.......

Great project, looks .
