The Schererer mags were crap. Does Glock make factory quality 32 rd mags, and what is a reasonable price for them once the rush settles?

They are actually 31 round mags with a +2 extention.  Glock does make them.  Even though they aren't stamped as such, they work nicely in the Glock 18 (select fire Glock 17).  You will find them for around 40 bucks.

It's a good thing they are technically 31 rds...in Ohio we aren't supposed to have over 32 rds...even though you see them all the time at the shows...go figure...

I've got a half dozen Scherer 33-rounders which I have used with my G17s and my K-T SUB-2000 with no problems whatsoever.  Maybe I'm just lucky - YMMV.

They don't make a factory full auto .40, hence no factory long mags.

I meant stamped 'Glock 18.'

If a mag isn't stamped Glock, I won't use it.

they aren't  stamped 'Glock 18'. none of my other glock mags have the model stamped on either. like every other glock mag i own at the bottom about an inch above the base it reads GLOCK AUSTRIA.

You're right, I just looked at my mags.  I remembered reading a post saying something to the effect of: 'They aren't Glock 18 mags, because they don't say Glock 18.' and that Glock 18s came with the same sized mag as a 17.
