Just carry a few pieces of ceramic from a busted spark plug. The "kids" call them ninja rocks, and they are like magic when tossed at auto glass.

Yeah....back when I was a teenager, car stereo thieves liked tying a piece of string to a spark plug and throwing it at the driver/passenger window. Rat bastards took my 1st Alpine like that. Very hard on a broke 18-year-old.
