Pops is looking for some replacement springs for his Defender.  Doesn't look like Wolff makes them for the Defender -- the officers is as small as they go.  Where can I get some?

The OACP is the smallest spring out there, in a 1911. It won't get any smaller. Have you called Wolf?????????

Nope didn't call Wolff.  I was just going by their website.  Officers is different from Defender -- I didn't realize that the springs were the same.

IIRC, the Defender is the OACP slide on a Commander frame???? There's another version that assbackwards from that set-up, I can't recall what model Colt called that one.

While Kimber & SA make a smaller than OACP 1911, Colt does not. Wolf has springs for all of them, hence my suggestion about calling them.

Good luck.

The Defender is a 3 inch bull bbl bushingless slide on a lightweight officers frame.

The SA Micro is also a 3" bbl.

$1 says Wolf makes a spring for the Defender..........

The last time I called them they didn't, nether does ISMI.

AFAIK the ONLY place you CAN get them is Colt, 1-800-962-COLT(2658).  The part numbers are: Recoil assembly-SP577811, outer spring-SP57779.
