Off it.
.380 is a caliber to merely annoy with.
Get something bigger.

Sell it, buy a Kahr 9mm or 40.
The day of the .380 is past. With so many mini and micro 9's and 40's available now, there is no longer any reason to carry a .380, especially one that is a single action with a small thumb safety.

I say keep it. Why... why not? Any how, they don't make that gun any more...... and what's wrong w/ 380....(not to cause a rant here)

I just picked up a P230 sig in .32 ACP. Why... why not... nice little thing for "just the heck of it." I have nothing againt small calibers.

PS- I don't venture here to the HG forums, but I'm around the Ar15 forums a lot.

Take it shooting, it might be fun if nothing else.

Sounds like someone pulled the trigger with the slide off...theres a part that "overcenters", rendering gun useless until put back in place. Pulling the trigger too hard with the safety on can also bend the trigger bar, another fine mess. Other than that, if you have a respectable battery anyway, it wont hurt to keep it as a novelty. If not, its a good trading piece or a good back up, if proven reliable. (another 2 cents ya cant spend)

Keep it.....at least for now....play with it for a while then decide.....contrary to many opinions..there actually are a few potent 380 rounds out there......90-95 grain bullet at 10 feet?......NO THANKS.......

Dump it, or have it reworked. Some after market work does wonders for them, but there are better things to be had.

If you decide to keep it, check out what these folks can do to them.....

{still think you should sell it and buy a Kahr , but what do you expect from the person who moderates the Kahr forum?}

Keep it. Mustangs will fetch a good price in the future. I just bought a Browning BDA for my wife and she didn't want anything but that. .380 will put a hole in a skull just as good as anything else. "the sight of a gun alone will deter most people"

You answeared your own question, you said you could afford to just go and buy the kahr anyway.

The way I see it the .380 (9x17)just lacks any distance,its still a nine mlm. Up close and personal it will get the job done,unless it's winter time and the perp is wearing heavy clothing. Not what I would want for my main carry though.
