Im interested on adding a DP rail to my Sig Target 1911 but i havent seen either a tutorial on how to do this or any other Sig 1911 with the rail fitted. I know that the rail passed the MEU(SOC) requirements for their 1911 without having to solder it to the frame. Any info on how to install or simply any info on over it at all will be well taken. Thanks.

Javo

I'm interested in the pros and cons of the dawson rail. I've looked at the Novak rail also. Would the light I put on the dawson rail be dedicated? If I went with the Novak, would the holster be my only draw back???

Well they only make the rail for the X300 Wep light of surefire, i believe you have the option to run it either dedicated or with a quick detach. Post up the Novak rail link if you got it.

Looks solid but still other than being able to convert a regular dust cover to a railed one i see no added advantage over integrated 1913 rails. Still have my doubts over the DP quick detach.
