In case anyone is searcing for a kydex holster for your Glock - check out Comp-tac Victory Gear, LLC. I ordered a belt holster for my G21 on 08/03 and received it in the mail today along with not one...but two rolls of Smartie candy.

Excellent products and service!

Comp Tac...really good holsters.

Pleasant twang on the phone every time (five times now) that I call to order.  Yes, I'm from MA, no, it's not common here.

Best part from my perspective is that they make good left handed holsters!!!one!!  And they don't  jack the price up an extra fifteen bucks - lefties, take note.  CTAC is good people.

You guys ever check out Tucker GunLeather's "The Answer"?

It uses a CompTac CTAC mounted on a leather backing.
Very comfortable and in my opinion, even better than a standard CTAC.

Check it out for yourself.

I have one, it has something embedded in the material and it scratched the hell out of my Glock, when I took it to the gunshow to show one of their reps I was called a lier, just letting you guys know.

I never heard of that. Thanks for the info, I'll ask around about that.

My G27 has not been dammaged in any way from mine.

Did you try to contact Tucker directly?

MurDoc,

I'm sorry to hear about the bad customer service you received.

Just note, what you mentioned can happen to any kind of Kydex holster.  If you train in different environments it's not that difficult to get gritty dust or particles on you gun and when you holster your firearm it can imbed the debris in the Kydex and cause scratching like you experienced.

Also, any pistol that's been really used will get scratches and the finish will wear on it.  This wear is a sign of training and IMHO, adds character to the gun.
