I am intrested to know how many of you have the good old Clackamas Kimbers? I have one, an old Classic Custom SN-K0078xx so I am guessing this one is pretty old.. I would say I have 12,000+ rounds through it and I ma the second owner.. So may 20,000+ rounds.. Well, it only gets better!! It is by far my fastest pistol. The finish is thin and worn, but she is still pretty..
Is it true that Kimber will no longer service the OR guns? If so that sucks.. (Tho mine has NEVER had a problem)

Lets hear about them and see um!!!

Clackamas serial number K0012XX and Warrior.

I had the Bo-Mars done about 10 years ago. McCormick barstock trigger group, S&A magwell, Briely spherical bushing and Hogue rosewood grips.

Just read an article about Kimbers in the Guns & Ammo The complete Book of the Model 1911.

The article said the Klakmas Or. guns were made in new york

I don't know why they wouldn't still servise them, it's not like they have a lifetime warranty.

Why do so many of the gun companies locate themselves in anti-gun states?

I have an 2000 vintage Ultra Carry.  I've been looking for a full size 1911 with a steel or S.S frame
I like the Warrior series but I don't like the price.  I like the price of the Springfield G.I.

Nice lookin hardware

"The article said the Klakmas Or. guns were made in new york"
This is true.. The were marked Clackamas yo comply with some laws.. Every Kimber 1911  made was made in New York.. Only the og .22's were really made in Or. ...  The Clackamas guns were well made.. Mine is near 20-25,000 rounds with no problems.. All stock factory parts (other then springs)

Here is mine.  I'm not sure what clackamas is and what makes them special but here it is.  I've been thinking of selling or trading.  Is this worth Keeping?  It has less than 200 rnds. through it.
