With the 0.2" shorter barrels (that dont extend past dust cover like a 92FS), can the new Beretta 92 Vertec's be suppressed? Anyone know?

I would think they'de just replace the barrel with a longer threaded one to fit the suppressor on to.

This is an Advanced Armament suppressor on a Vertec just using another barrel.

If I can put together the money for a can + tax stamp, then I can afford a couple hundred for a standard barrel. In fact, the standard chrome lined 92/M9 barrels are probably better for use on a can than the stainless barrels used on Vertecs.

if you are going to replace the barrel to suppress it and will be using the suppressor on just your beretta AAC has a quick detach system for their evolution-9 can with the beretta. It just snaps on rather than having to thread it, plus the AAC Evolution-9 is the best 9mm can on the market right now. Might want to check into that
