Can I put a Glock 27 barrel in my Glock 26 to shoot .40?
Or would I need to make other changes?

I don't think so.

IIRC the G26 barrel works only in a G36 and the G27 barrel works both in a G27 andr G33.

I agree with Frens. They use different firing pins and extractors, too.

No. The hole in the slide the barrel goes through is a different size. The 27 barrel will not fit through the hole on a 26 slide. A 26 barrel will fit through the hole on a 27 slide, but it will not fill the hole, its to small. The 9mm conversion barrels for the .40 frames have a larger OD to take care of the size difference.

You mean a G26 only works in a G26, right? The G36 is a .45 ACP. I don't think the G26 barrel will work in it. I'm guessing typo...
