a ct resident can have a threaded barrel on a preban pistol. as far as the barrel itself. its legal. assembled into a post ban configuration. not legal.

Stupid laws can make a law abiding citizen into a criminal for possession of a piece of metal.

Like previous poster I would check CT forum.  Helpful note it is on the receiver to abide by local laws not you.

As stated earlier, yes you can ship it. If they assemble it in a new pistol and they aren't LEO, it's illegal for them.

You are not bound by another state's laws.  Ship any parts to anyone.  If it is illegal for them to posses or receive those parts, they are breaking their state laws, not you.
