I purchased one specifically for plate shooting about 3 or so years back. It remains my favorite for that purpose. It’s really too big and heavy for concealment (but that size cuts down on recoil and muzzle flip). It’s about as grip fat as I can handle (I would not use it in any other manner than SA, due to the shorter trigger pull). I had to get a custom holster for it.
But, for all my complaints, it is a well-made piece, with much to recommend it: reliable functioning (no FTFs or FTEs or other mals to date), that interesting polymer finish the CZ folks put on their non-stainless models, the price, the .45ACP chambering (the plates don’t always fall after hits with .38, 9mm, or even .40 S&W), the heavy dust cover at the barrel, the 10 shell capacity (OK, you get 13 with a Glock 21 and a smaller grip, but it’s a Glock trigger), the ability to use a frame-mounted safety, the easy conversion from non-drop-free to drop-free mags, and …
It’s a pretty good pistol.
