Hey guys I'm purchasing 3 handguns all at the same time, so far i've gotten this price quote, wanted to see what ya'll thought. If anyone knows where I can get all three cheaper then by all means let me know, thanks.

Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm $470
Sig 226 9mm CPO $525
Sig 226 .357 sig CPO $535

for a total of $1550 plus tax

what do you guys think.

If you can find it all for me cheaper let me know, thanks.

Budsgunshop ahs MP for 439 shipped but when you ad the trensfer fee it about the same.

be carefull of buying more than 1 pistol in a 5 day period. etra paper work has to go directly to the ATF

well its all gonna be in one transaction, you can purchase up to 3 guns per 4473 form.

i might have to check out bud's gun shop, do they have sig 226's that i'm looking for on there?

true. but if you buy more than 1 pistol in a given period they have to fill out a special form that is sent directly to the ATF.Ask the gun shop and they will tell you so.

+1. Just to keep off the radar I'd spread those purchases out over a few weeks.

what do they have to send to the ATF?

Link Posted: 10/10/2007 4:54:01 PM EDT
they ahve to send a form that has the guns # and such and will be registered in their database. if you buy one gun it is just logged into the FFL book though it may vary by state.

A multiple purchase form. I've filled one out many times & absolutely nothing ever happened.

Buy what you want, when you want & let the tin foil hat crowd stand alone.........

i'll keep it in mind thanks.

bud's seems pretty cheap but no CPO's

They will notify your county's law enforcement agency. It is no big deal most of the time, but it could throw up some red flags and cause some problems, depending on your area.

The Sig Sauer 226 9mm pistols I saw at Bud's Gun Shop is like $780. Maybe the one's one Bud's website is a higher end model of the 226?

I bought an M&P 9 from Jaxshooters, but got the "carry kit" at $450, but if you are looking for just the pistol, jaxshooters sells it for $419.99. So $419.99+$19.50s&h+ffl fee ~15=$454.49

I know of 2 times where the ATF followed up on the turned in forms, and a bunch more where I never heard a word.

I would spread the purchases out, YMMV
