I am considering buying a good .22 pistol first and of these two Browning models which one would you pick?

I am also considering other .22s but I would like comment on Buckmarks only.

Thanks

I have a camper and a micro. I don't know what the challenger has in terms of features. Personally, I like the Mircro - it's a little lighter and just as accurate. A very good under-study for a centerfire pistol.

All Browning Buckmarks are good pistols and you can't go wrong with any Buckmark. My personal choice is the 5.5 Field. Accuracy is nothing short of outstanding.

I believe the challenger grip is tapered smaller to the bottom and works better for people with small hands.
I have a field and camper, love them both, one has a reddot sight and you should see my daughter chase tin cans withit.

I have a 5.5 Target and love it. Just get the one that floats your boat; they're all good.

If it were me, I'd get the Camper, because it has the heavier barrel.

I own A Buckmark Challenger. The previous guy is right. It does have a slimmer grip and it also has a tapered barrel. It is as accurate as any Buckmark I ever owned. I've owned two previously; both were the Standard Buckmark. I would highly recommend any Buckmark....

I've fired a .45 ACP before but figure a .22 pistol will help me practice before buying a bigger handgun. Plus I have a .22 LR rifle.
