I lucked out Monday and found a PPQ 9mm in stock at one of my LSGs.  Had gone in to see about a Glock 26 and maybe sell/trade my old Bushmaster.  Was interested in getting enough in cash or trade, to pick up 2 handguns.  Since I'd just completed 2 AR builds in the last month or so, I didn't really have much sentimental attachment to the old Bushmaster anymore.  So, decided to shop it around.  Quick run through the guns in their case, I didn't see a PPQ, so was looking at a G26/G27 to see if it would be comfortable in my hand.  Had been looking to replace a worn/broken Jennings/Bryco 9mm and thought the G26 might be a similar feel/size, but also was lusting after a P30 or the more affordable and lustable-too, PPQ for a nicer 9mm.  As the guy was inspecting the AR, he asked what I was looking for, etc.  Told him I was really wanting a PPQ in 9mm and probably a G26 gen3 or the Gen4 they had.  Other guy behind the counter walked over to the shelf (under the bare AR rack) and picked up a PPQ that some poor schmuck had taken off hold that day.  They had a Gen4 G26, but didn't really care much about that as I held the PPQ in my hands.  Couldn't believe my luck.  2 or 3 other stores had no Glocks period, and the first place I shopped my AR wouldn't give me what I wanted for it.  Traded the Bushy and $100 and walked out with the Gen4 26 and the PPQ.  I know they made $$ off me, but I didn't care.  I got what I wanted and am very happy with both.  Still need to put some rounds through them, but that'll only be another couple of days.  Still can't believe I found one!
