Here is the order I just put in at Mirage.  I think all the Speer Gold Dot 9MM is listed & as you probably know the SB is short barrel ammo.  I don't know if these are the best prices but they are competive and Mirage is the only dealer I found to have all the different Speer ammo I needed.  Mirage is also good to do business with.

If they are 9MM Gold Dot 147 grain the Mirage price is $15 for 50.  The short barel and +P stuff gets really pricy.  Self Defense only with the $$$$$$$$$ stuff.

I went to their site and cannot find any boxs of 50.  When I sent Mirage a email to get prices I was supprised by the 38Special +P was a box of 50 for that price also the 147grain 9MM was listed as a box of 50.  I hope Mirage didn't make a mistake in their quote they sent me.  I will let you all know.  I put the order in late Friday night and should get a reply tomorrow.  Those were good prices on Sportsmans guide.  I didn't  see any short barrel listed but the others were OK.  I never thought of looking there.  Thanks for the heads up ALPHAGHOST.  They are usually very reasonable on shipping + don't forget about the coupons guys.

If Mirage made a mistake in their quotes I will think of ordering everything but the short barrel from SG.  I could do 2 orders and get $40 off.
BTW do you think the Rangers out perform the Gold Dots in full size pistols?

btw: i just ordered 1000 rnds of this 124gr gold dots for $189--its on close out sale

i dont know if the rangers out perform the GDs, but they are both reputable w/ LEOs and pass 12" gel penetration tests; furthermore, i have not heard about either having problems w/ core-jacket seperations
