Im looking at getting a pocket pistol to carry most of the time.  Ive shot a .32 Kel Tec and I didnt find a problem with it but are there better options out there?

I love my .32 Seecamp.

too bad the colt pocket 9 didnt make a better showning.i wish another more competent manufacturer would make a small DAO, 5 shot 9mm semi auto that fits nicely in the hand as well as the pocket!

I recently bought one of the Kel-Tec P-3AT's (.380) a few weeks ago, and I love it.  I've ran a few hundred rounds through it without any problems, and it's extremely accurate for a gun of it's size.  I carry it on me all the time, and I just keep it in my front pocket.  I really like the fact that I can just throw it in my pocket, instead of having to make sure I wear the right cloths, and put on my comp-tac holder like I do when I carry my XD-40 Tactical around on me.

That Kel-Tec is a great little gun, I would highly recommend it.

 Kel Tec seems to be a 50/50 chance and the .32 leaves a little to be desired.  Take a look at a S&W 642/442, Kahr MK series or even a Glock 26.  I pocket carry a 26 in baggy shorts no problem, even not so baggy jeans.  I use a .38 snub or MK for tighter pockets.

My Kel-tec P32 is my always carry gun and 90% goes in a pocket holster.  Weights the least and the slimist.  It is 100% reliable and points well for me.

+1 on the Keltech 380. I carried the 32 for years, then upgraded to the 380. It's barely more gun to carry, and the round is much better...though still very, very anemic.

I do my best to get at least a 9mm on me when I can. I understand the need for a pocket gun, but the balance is to carry it as little as possible and something bigger most of the time....

A buddy of mine has a .380 Kel  Tec and it is a great little pocket pistol. Very light and easy to hide and carry. I carry the North American Arms Guardian in .380 and I love it. The Guardian is all stainless steel, so it is a little heavier than the Kel Tec, but it still carries nice for me. I carry mine in a left handed rear pocket holster as a back up to my main EDC pistol (Para Ordnance C7-.45 LDA).

There are many pistols out there that will work as a pocket pistol. For some folks, the Kel Tec's, Guardians, Beretta Tomcats or Seecamps the perfect size. For others, the Walther, Sig 230's or Glock 26's and 27's will work. Still others prefer the 2" revolvers. It will depend on how well you shoot with it and how easy it is for you to carry it. It also depends on the environment where you live. Will you be carrying at work as well as just around town? Climate and common attire have a lot to do with what you can get away with. Can you get away with wearing an untucked shirt or a lightweight vest to cover your handgun all the time?

There are those who will try and tell you that nothing but a full size pistol is what you should carry all the time, but the reality of it is, you will carry what is comfortable for you. I would venture to say that there are times (more than most will admit) that the big guns get left at home and the smaller pistols are carried as the primary sidearm.

The bottom line is that carrying a pistol....any pistol takes some getting used to, whether it is concealed or not. You should always have a gun (any gun) with you at all times if you can......

my fav pocket pistol that goes everywher with me is my Taurus 605 357mag snubby.  I know its not the most desirble brand but I have 2 of those pistols that work perfectly.  I have a fist #5 leather pocket holster and hogue grips for the one that I abuse.  My next pocket pistol would be my Kahr PM40 in a Fist #5 ultra thin kydex holster.  It is very concealable and is what I will use if I need something really small on those rare occasions,  but I hate shooting it.

There is a smooth consistant DAO 7 shot 9mm semi auto on the market today called the Rohrbaugh R9S.  It is a real pocket pistol for real pockets.  

Kel-Tec has make some improvments with the .380's......they are calling them the "2nd gen" models.  I've got a 2nd gen P-3AT and it's great.  I haven't had any problems with it...and it's really accurate.
