Looking to have a slide with barrel, and possibly a 92 frame, refinished in Nickel. Any suggestions what smith or shop can do refinishing work?

Quite a few years back he did two Colt 1911's for me.
Very satisfied.

Be advised nickel scratches VERY easily.

Is there a reason you want it done in that finish? I am not saying don't do it, but there are better options that will last much longer but they will not be as shiny.

Yeah I know it's not the best finish. No worries.

Check out Wilson.

They now customize Beretta 92s.

I was told by Wilson they only do Armor Tuff on Berettas, no plating options.  Also, they will still work on a previously refinished gun as long as no mechanical work was done.

Why not Robar NP3?

Relatedly, how do these refinishers work around a fixed tritium front sight?

I think your sights would be removed slide with other parts first before they do any kind of metal prep / refinishing.

I believe it will have to be relamped by Trijicon. Some refinishers will send it off for u. Re-lamping is not that much.
