Not me personally but I do know of a few departments that issue the INOX due to the high corrosion rate in there area. Mostly Island areas. Wonder what they'll use after the can't get repalcements?

When I say "High corrosion rate" Put it this way......Nobodies, well maintained bike last over 6 months. They even use the Mossy mariner 500A for land use. Say what you will about Glocks ( I like them)but even a well maintained Tenifer will not hold up to that.

Why not just get a normal handgun hard-chromed? Tripp Research does some great work and from everything I've read suggests it's one of the most durable and rust-proof finishes shy of stainless steel. MJD

 .The INOX series of pistols are still being sold at major retail chains. ETA: Beretta is still listing INOX models on their site: 92 models |

Well, Beretta still has the cougar on their site.
BTW, I asked about Inox at the SHOT show and the Beretta guy said they aren't sure they will have it anytime soon for the PX4. He sure didn't mention the end of that option. |

it is not BS. the inox series IS discontinued. word came directly from beretta employees on berettaforum.net. I'm not happy about it either.... but ohwell |
