WTF is the point?  Why would anyone use this over a standard .45?  I hate Glock now.

Wow, a solution to a problem that doesn't exist!

Of course, that's what a Glock is anyway.    The only things I think are improvents that Glock made are being lighter weight and being DAO and not needing external safeties.

They don't do anything other pistols already did.  Plain and simple.

This one might die a little slower than .41 AE.

another caliber we don't need....all it does is match the 45ACP....then, why bother?

Really I guess this might work better for Glock ported guns (higher pressure round)

Other than that.... yeah not much happening.

I could see the possibility of some problems with people mixing up .45ACP and .45 Glock.

I don't have a 4inch barrel and don't like +P ammo so I guess the .45 glock isn't for me.... besides it can't fire .230grain ball which is all the fun : )

One interesting thing about Glock .45ACP pistols is that recoil seems to be the same for all calibers 9mm to .45acp (at least in my experience comparing a glock 19 to a Glock full size in .45cal with the compensated factory barrel)

Many European countries don't allow civilians or their police forces to use military calibers.

The .380 (M25?) is actually a money maker overseas.  This .45 GAP will give them another option with a lot more punch.

I'd buy one just to have. I love ALL guns!
Say, does anyone know if those other glocks are available in the U.S.? I know of the .380, but isn't there another small cal glock out there? like .32 ???

I hate to drag this thread back up (not really ) but has anyone had a chance to shoot a G37 yet?  I've been reading a lot about them lately and so far the reviews seem good but I still can't figure out why people would buy the GAP over the standard 45 round.

I looked at one last weekend and even the guy running the store told me they only have TWO boxes of ammo for it!  TWO?!

Any way, I was just wondering if any of you have shot one and if so, what did you think.

Fuck a Gluck.

So sad, they went from first to worst with me. I was on my way to getting one of each, now I only have a few, and will reduce that number to zero.

BF... I call BS!

Somebody at Glock is inhaling fumes from polymer frames.

Looks like an Edsel to me! On the other hand, I suppose it might make a collector's item in about 30 years or so.

I wonder what the chances of a KABOOM are with this round.  When the .40 first came out even factory ammo like Federal had problems with KBs.  I would bet this new Glock round is not as forgiving as the 9mm or .45 ACP round when it comes to reloading or new ammo.  Like the .40 load this stuff a little wrong and you get a trip to the hospital.
