so the GLOCK tool is just a 3/32 punch thats' about 2inchs long and sells for $6.99
does it do anything that a regular 3/32 punch can't do??? (other than it has "GLOCK" name on it) Not trying to put GLOCK down, just wondering why the need

It's rounded off at the edge to prevent scratching plastic/steel parts. It is surprisingly sturdy for such a small tool. I got one becuase my Starret 3/32" hardened steel punch will most likely scratch the heck out of the Glock trying to work on it.

I got one a while ago just because I didn't have the correct size punch and wanted to do some work on my pistol.

It wont scratch or wear any frame or pin parts because its made of the same material.
I would NOT sure a steel punch on my Glock. They also work great on tough take down pins rather then using what ever is laying around and scratching up your lower. My 2 cents. |

I use the Glock tool on my other weapons also. I don't see it as being a waste of money.
