Never realized there was a problem. I have multiple Gen 4's and all have run flawlessly. What problems are you talking about the overblown brass to the face issue?

If you buy a post 2010 Glock 9mm, Gen3 or Gen4, you're rolling dice.

Even if you get an early one the part is trivially easy to detect the old one, get and install the new.
That little crisis was short lived and now over. Mine had the brass bouncing off the forehead issue. Seems like there was an different recoil spring released too, which are wear parts anyway. Trivially easy to fix. This has been years ago. Any new gun from glock will be fine. |

My gen4 9mm and 45's have been 100% with strong ejection to the right. My gen 3 .40 on the other hand, had the dreaded Surefire malfunction which was fixed with the dual spring recoil assembly in the gen4.
