I bought a Mak a few months ago, payed $175 with a spare mag and hard case, I liked it so much I want 1 or 2 more. So I go to the local gun shop and the guy has 1 Mak and he wants $240 for it, it was a Century Arms International (CAI), bulgy. Was that what they go for now, or was he out of line? What should I expect to pay for one at a show? Thanks guys.

He is over charging you. My dealer has mint Bulgys for $175.

Yep... overcharged.    $240 would be ok for a nice E. German Mak but is a little steep for a Bulgy.

I paid $150 for a bulgy just an hour ago. It's my first, can't wait to shoot it.
