What is the reliability of these magazines?  I might buy a couple if they are any good.

My google search of those mags reveals some questionable looking items.  I vote Mec Gar 18 and 20 rounders.  Seem to be the best.

It looks like he lives in NY.
If so then only pre-ban mags would be leagle for him.

Held together by screws, and they are without a doubt the worst mags on the market.

Have severqal for a P226.  Doesn't lock slide back when empty, but feed and function.

Will note, that had one baseplate pop off when jamming a loaded mag into an empty pistol.

A while back CDNN offered one free eagle 92fs mag for every factory Beretta mag purchased.  I just happened to purchase 25 factory mags new from them and when I got the package I was surprised to find my order of 25 plus 25 more eagle brand.  Now, I've seen them used at the range and they created nothing but trouble.  I took mine and traded em to another dealer.  I got 5 stainless 92fs mags for the lot of 25.  Best deal ever.

Just buy the MDS branded mags from CDNN and forget about it.

With a couple exceptions, my general rule of thumb on aftermarkets mags for any handgun is Mec Gar or factory.

One exception is my Sig P6, found that Promag, the only maker of aftermarket mags for the P6/Sig 225, are GTG. They work as well as factory Sig mags for me.

I've got a few old USA M1 carbine mags that work great, the only ones of that brand that would.
