I see that Clark Custom Guns will machine 629 cylinders to accept full moon clips.  I like the idea of using the moon clips instead of speed loaders, etc.  Keeps the brass together when it is all shot, etc.  But, at $80 to have it done, plus shipping (and a 6 to 8 week wait!!), I wanted to see if anyone else has done this.

I did pick up two HKS speed loaders today, so I'll see how those work.  One thing I did notice about my PC 629 Stealth Hunter is that the cases don't always fully eject (the case mouth hangs up.)  Am I not hitting the ejector rod hard enough?  This was with the only ammunition I've shot so far (UMC 180 grain FPs.)  Don't know if this is normal, a function of the ammo, or operator error.
