I placed an order via e-mail and phone on October 4th. Quoted lead time was 10 days.

I finally saw a receipt to my e-mail yesterday the 27th.

I mailed and asked if the receipt meant my order had been shipped and I got a fairly generic looking e-mail stating that they are in stand down and therefore have a "severely degraded production capability"

Anyone else got additional info or experiences here?

I got my mag holders a few weeks back.  They have expirienced such a rash of business in the last few months I think they are trying to reorganize to handle it all.  It took a couple of Emails and a couple of days to get responses from Eugene, but the wait was worth it.  The product is awesome.

Basically I think they are trying to get set-up so they don't end up like Raven with 16 week lead times.  So it's going to be a little rockey until they do.

Sounds fair enough.

As it happens I stopped using my light so at this point I could easily order an 'in-stock' holster from anywhere else and bin this idea for a while, but I would like to think if someone gives you a time it'll take for something to happen, then it will.

All too often in the world of guns (and cars) stuff takes WAY longer than it should.

I've had a very detailed reply, and it turns out a large military order has slowed down the civilian stuff.

Which is absolutely fine by me, people whose lives depend on their equipment should always come first.

I have an order in and was given a 3 week lead time per the email sent on October 18th. On balance this is still a pretty good turnaround time.

I asked for a confirmation of my order prior to building it and haven't heard back yet. I understand makers can get quite overwhelmed with orders, particularly when they make a good product. Word gets around pretty fast in the interwebz and perhaps they are getting more than they prepared for.

Good for them.
