I want to know as well. I want to do the same thing to my G17.
Though I think I would rather send it to someone who has a good reputation, rather than someone with a very low price. You can't put machined metal back onto the slide if they mess it up. |

The two most common places seem to be One Source Tactical (Gabe Suarez) and Bowie Tactical (David Bowie). Depends on whether you want your BUIS in front or behind the optic. From what I've read, both do outstanding work. I think Bowie has a much longer lead time.

Matt babb at bentwood gunsmithig does them and his work is always amazing. I just saw him doing it to a 1911 the other day. As for his pricing you'd have to call

Whatever you pay is cheaper than a new slide and / or optic. |

Gabe Suarez has a guy, mark housel do the slides in house at OST - did my dads Gen 4 G19 . . . its pretty sweet
