Hi Guys,

First time poster, long time lurker. My friend just picked up a new 1911, and offered his Custom II to me for $550. It has only 300 rounds through it and is in mint condition. It seems like a steal to me, so are there any reasons I should put the cash towards a different gun? Been wanting to add a 1911 to my collection for a while.

I have a custom II that I think is absolutely outstanding. I would buy several at that price.
