Looks pretty small and compact for a .45. 10rd cap mags. Looks to be about the size of a Glock 36. A local store has a new one for 399.00. Is this too much? I was thinking it would make an excellent CCW.
Edited to add: Ok, research says they had a frame cracking problem, and a safty problem, did Taurus fix the problem on current guns?

Well well well, you opened up a book man.

I have one. First 75 rounds it was on its way back to Taurus because the Mag release button broke and the mag would just fall out.

Got it back shot maybe 100 - 150 rounds and it is now in the shop again, this time it appears that the frame has cracked, the trigger broke keeping it from firing (Thank god or else it might have went KB on me) and I think that is about it.

Trigger is grainy, long pull. But the gun was pretty accurate.

It does make an excellent carry gun though. I carried it for about 4 months and then last time I took it out for a good ringing it broke again. I probably wont carry it anymore.

I paid 300 for mine brand new. I might sell it, I havent decided yet. The problem will be finding someone to buy it.

If you get one I wish you luck with it.
