Hi, l am looking for opinions between these two sight choices for my G27. The standard Hackathorn set with the plain black serrated rear seem like a great choice, but the I-dot pro's do seem to offer a slightly better sight picture to me along with a rear dot, but they have a taller profile from the slide. Will these both shoot to the same POI ?  I will be using 180grain loads if that helps. Thank's

lo profile and really easy to see front sight.

Eta 2: The pro operator rears with the hack front, IMHO be perfect compared to the taller I-dot.

I have the I-dots and I love them.  They are tall, but that does not affect how they aim.  You won't notice the difference when you are shooting.  I like the "stack the dot" theory on my sights.  They are fast and easy to acquire.  I've not tried the Hackathorns or a plain rear setup though.

Tough decision, kinda leaning towards the standard Hacks for the lower profile.

They aren't that tall really.  The black gun has the I-dots.  The silver gun has stock sights.

I like the the stock height and that is why I chose to go with the "hacks".
My next choice would be the pro operator rear with the orange front.
My reason for that set up is, the plain rear is less "busy", but in low light I only have the front sight visible. The pro operator rear in yellow would help in low light to line up the front sight.  
You really can't go wrong with either of your original choices. I took a chance with the hackathorns and I am happy with them.

I agree with 57plymouth, they're not that much taller, but I prefer the lower stock height.
