The local Bass Pro has it for 579$....Is that what these cost? Any tips on finding one cheaper? The local pawn shops have pretty terrible prices too.

I compared the G19 to the XD9SC and the G26 and the two latter guns just seemed to have too small of a grip for my hands.

I paid $550 for my G23 <The G19 was listed as the same price>, and with all the taxes and fee's attached it came out to $624.17 total, so Bass Pro is close to what I paid, but still a bit more expensive. You can try Topglock.com - Last I looked a G19 was something like $499, but I don't know how fellow arfcommer's feel about TG.

Just got my G19 with Glock NS for about 530 here in GA.  From my experience, Bass Pro is usually pretty proud of the stuff they sell.  Best to shop around or find a deal online.

Call Ed's Public Safety at 770-474-6084. In one phone call, they'll set you up as a GSSF member for $35, and then you can buy a standard G19 for $425. Total cost = $460 + shipping + your local FFL's transfer fee.

I just picked up a Very lightly used Glock 22C, from gander mnt for 349.00. After a good cleaning and Field Strip I think that it problably had less then 50 rounds down the pipe. It was freakin flawless. absolutly no holster wear markes, chips or scratches in the polymer, slide or mag. for the price i couldnt let it go. was in the same case as a used G27 that was really beat to hell and had a price tag of $549.00.

You could do better easy. I bought a new Gen 4 G17 a couple of days ago for $519 plus tax. $551 total I think it was.

Now I've got to get a holster so I can carry it. And some of those longish short sleeve button ups to wear over it to cover it up.

ETA: this would be a good option... you'd be looking at about $500 out-the-door. then use the money you saved for a holster and spare mags.

That is where I got my Olive Drab (ie brown) framed 19 a few mos ago for $459- which is still the price. With shipping & transfer it came in a few bucks under $500.

If you happen to be a Firefighter, EMT, Cop, etc.  I got my G26 w/ Trijicon sights from Ed's Public Safety for $498 shipped.  My FFL didn't even charge me a transfer fee.  I was happy.

Was it the bass pro in Leeds? (i see you're in AL)

if so- make the short trip to hoover, go to hoover tactical firearms, ask for chris (ihateliberals).

they'll sign you up for gssf and apply your coupon on the spot- and you'll be out the door for just around $500- including taxes and gssf membership.

i picked up a glock 34 a while ago from them through the gssf- quick and painless- the store is awesome too!

It was actually the Spanish Fort one, but my girlfriend lives near that store. I may go that route. Thanks for the advice!

Try Academy Sports in Mobile or Pensacola. I think they are cheaper.

Pensacola is about the average $550. By the way don't buy a gun in Pensacola if you can. The county has that dumb three day wait, and they maxed out the state sales tax at 7.5%. Oh wait your AL resident. So you can't buy out of state. I doubt Academy will transfer it for you.
