The 17L's are available again. All of my local shops said that their distributors have non available, all were already allocated. I managed to secure one for myself. Good luck gents.

Gen 3 is all I have seen. Lucky for me it is my preferred gen.

You're shitting me...I just made a trade for a used one, sigh.

How good do they shoot compared to std17?
Might have to get one. Muzzle Heavy? |

I had one for a while but ended up selling it for what I paid for it. One nice thing, they hold their value very well. They shoot a lot like a 34, not muzzle heavy, just long. Holsters can be hard to find but not impossible. I had a DSG kydex for mine. I still have my 34 when I want a long barrel Glock. |

oh man I have been craving a long barrel glock..... I'll have to see if they are in stock locally so I can check it out.

View Quote One thing that makes it a bit easier for me is to get a 17 kydex holster, heat the muzzle end up and insert a taped up 17L. Let it cool and your holster will now fit 19, 17, 17L, the 17L just sticks out the bottom a bit. Nice thing about Glock is you can make one holster fits all with a bit of engineering. |

Those are very cool, what's the advantage of this over the G34?

Hopefully the next run will be G4 with the beveled slide of the 34.

Ordered one from Buds. This stupid website has cost me so much money.

I really regret trading out of mine a few years ago. I may have to look into another.

It seems they all disappeared. There were a bunch showing available yesterday afternoon at multiple vendors, then all out of stock all of a sudden at all the same vendors. I hope they come back, I was seriously thinking about one.

I have a 24 that I love and won't part with, and hope to have a 17L someday. |

Impact Guns is showing them as in stock for $595. I read through them, not sure I'm picking up what you're putting down. Are you talking about the whole prices subject to change part or something else? |

Please keep this quiet until I sneak one home in a Christmas Stocking. Love the 17L I have now.

>>Niche gun. Very nice, but for me not very practical.<<
Yes, I agree. I've owned two of these in the past but never thought they shot any better than a standard G17, or G19 for that matter. To each his own I guess. |

Just got my shipping notification from Impactguns last night. I'm super excited. Wanted one of these for a while but, didn't want to pay an over inflated price on a used one if I could find one.

I did that with a G34 Safariland holster. Sold the gun as it was an extra in my collection and it didn't really do anything better than my G17, but I still have the holster. |

I had three come into the shop. All were gone in two weeks. Way faster than the last go round.

Yes, that is exactly why Glock made the 34/35 - to fit the USPSA Production box and IDPA box. The 24 is still a great choice for USPSA Limited division and the 17L is good for 3 gun. Quoted:
Do the slides come with the cut out? Yes and there's also metal removed from the inside of the slide to reduce additional weight. |

They also look and feel like shit. Better texture Nah, I enjoy having skin, thank you very much. I carry IWB and my skin is still intact, perhaps you have sensitive skin? Dual stage recoil spring For .40, yes. For 9, it just removes the 20+ year track record of the single RSA. Gen4 RSA's have almost double the service life of the single RSA's on the Gen3, and are a improvement regardless of caliber. View Quote |
