Yeah, YoBo provides an adapter with the light and rail.

I think I prefer this option to a built-in rail. It sucks trying to get a holster for a railed 1911, and these look like they can be removed and re-installed at will. Am I correct?

The Dawson and YoBo rails are fairly permanent solutions, not removeable like the Surefire.
Can anyone confirm whether or not the Dawson/YoBo rails work with standard Blade-Tech holsters? I've read conflicting reports. |

What are the diffrences between the dawson and yost rails? How easy/hard is it to instal the rails?

Why would you want to remove/reinstall at will, a prduct which is screwed (and sometimes silver soldered) to the dustcover of your 1911? Once the rail is installed, you should definitely leave it there lest you risk damaging threads, and/or causing the screws to come loose while firing. damian@adcofirearms |

Caspian has a nice rail as well. Comes in carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, or titanium. Installation instructions are on the Caspian page in .jpg and .pdf format.
