I am looking for a decent adjustable rear sight for my HP. I'm not looking at something real expensive, under $30 if possible. The big problem is, mine has the staked front sight, so I want an adjustable rear that will use the existing dovetail. Is there anything like that around? Like I said, nothing fancy, don't want to spend much.

Thanks,
Gundraw

MMC from Brownells, but it requires machining the rear of the slide

Millett rear from Brownells...they say one works with the factory staked front sight, but I've never seen one of these myself

Can't think of any others out there but there certainly may be some I don't know about. If this was me, I'd either replace both front and rear, learn to live with my fixed sights, or try the MMC since it is much lower and probably will work well for you if you have it installed by someone who knows WTF they are doing. In any case, none of these sights are gonna fit your $30 budget unless you can do your own machining.

Good luck!
