I swear it must be impossible to find one of these on the used market. New, the price tags are still a bit painful at about a grand.

I missed one that was in 98% condition about 6 months ago when I was in Las Vegas for $625, and have been trying to find another one ever since. You'd think they were either made of platinum or some new source of fuel for a vehicle. Gotta hand it to Sig owners, they don't sell and pass of guns like glock guys do.

I bought a new P226 9mm SSE a few months ago, only have 6k rounds through it so far, LOL.. My favorite SIG, and I have an X-5. Check GunBroker.

Good luck in your search. I really like my SSE.

I bought one of the older 226 stainless guns off gunbroker a couple years ago. I watched for 5-6 months before I found it.

I have been watching all the local gun boards (4) for the pacific northwest and have not seen any stainless framed sigs at all, let alone the SIG P226 ST 9mm

Have you been watching the bigger gun auction sites? Smaller gun boards are a mighty small pool.

Yes, I hit some of them regularly I have seen a couple that came up at the price of new. I am really kicking myself for missing one earlier this year.
