Long time no post, busy with work and nonsense. I invested the 10 bucks and got a WC 18 pound spring. Unbelievably stiff. Per the packaging, this spring is recommended for 10mm range ammo and standard pressure 45acp defensive ammo. I am expecting next range trip the hydroshok is much more mild.

I’m pleased to see this thread moving again. Ive been carrying the Specialist again for the last 6 weeks. Wonder where OP is in his 1911 travels.

I've been carrying my SA Operator a couple times a week while hiking.
Its pretty darn hard to beat. I just through an Ed Brown magwell / msh on it that fit seamlessly Ive been saving up some coin to snag a high end 9mm 1911 for carry to replace my tubberware Dan Wesson sexiness |

Do it! There is a P365 in the safe. I sold every other soulless striker I owned last month without regret. DW makes really nice pistols.
