I’ve got that milt sparks pouch. I’ll look I believe I have an extra set of loops but it was stiff for probably the first couple weeks of trying. It still doesn’t like to slide in and I have to unsnap and snap it.

Did you try just snapping the snaps instead of threading the belt through?

What I do is use a single mag pouch at 11oclock all the time and just through a double mag pouch farther back if I want extra mags.

I can't get these bad boys to snap once it's fed around the belt. I'll give it some time to break in.

Also, take a pencil and outline the male side of the snap. Lube.

I've had the same issue. Push the snap from the top down - one lip over first. This has always helped me.

I'll try messing with the snaps after work. This damn thing has gotten painful the last hour. Can't wait to get home

I had the best luck positioning mine above the back pocket personally. Though my problem is being a bit under height for my weight.

Remember that Sparks and some others use directional snaps. They'll only snap or unsnap in one direction.

And My Milt Sparks holsters always required a LONG break-in period.

I misread your post and have my mags above the front pocket today. So far not bad honestly...

Got the Loaded out to the range yesterday to work on presentation and transition drills, finally getting it over the 1,000 round mark. Should have hit it sooner but between work, house projects, having to replace my home A/C system, and some health issues that landed the wife in the hospital for a good while I've been a bit short on range time and ammo money.

I'm not really happy with the sights, the factory front sight is hard to pick up and actually stands out less than the rear, so I'm going to order one of the flat serrated rears and a fiber optic front from 10-8. The objective is to approximate the sight setup on my CZ SP-01 Shadow which is one of the best fixed iron sight setups I've used on a handgun. Also grabbed a couple of slotted grip screws to replace the blueberry heads that it came with and make it look more "correct."

It's smoothed out quite a bit since it was new, and still no malfunctions even after 3x8 round mags of Hilton Yam's extractor test.

Shot some drills and chronographed some loads yesterday.

Today was the monthly match I go to. I actually think I might have gotten 1st.

I wish I got the big spinner on camera. I think I landed a triple on it and then a double. I got it going faster then I've ever done it.

What's on the trp? I thought it was the same stuff as  the slide of my lw champion. My champions slide has been wearing ok.

I wish my phone took better pics.

If I'm not mistaken their armory coat or what ever it's called. Slide is starting to show some tastful wear just at the end by the bushing. camera is also shite. Is the grip safety possibly aluminum?

I'm not sure.

Armory coat is what I thought. My slide is ok with some tasteful wear.

The grip safety and msh gets a lot of sweat and rusts on my loaded. I haven't had an issue on my loaded since it's LW.

I'm glad I am not alone. Grip safety is getting ruined, the area between the MSH and mag well is also rusting regularly. Also surface rust under the grip panels.

My mag release and MSH rust on mine, but like 03RN, mine is a lightweight, so no issue with frame corrosion.

Although it's softer than a steel brush, I find it can remove the bluing faster than an old toothbrush. I'll use a brass brush on a real rusty part, though.

Dito. What the toothbrush cant get, the brass brush gets. Predominantly the surface between the MSH and magwell.

I think the leather accessories are exacerbating the issue. Very hot in the midwest currently. The gun is already re-rusting since yesterday. I figured I should take the magazines out of the leather double mag pouch and there was legitmiate condensate on the one. Might have to figure out how to pull them down and inspect the springs. Oh also maybe go rebuild those WC mags I ordered rebuilds for. That stuff is all sitting in a box unopened still.....
