I finished my stainless steel 1911 project built on a 80% frame that I completed on a benchtop mini-mill.  Most of the parts are Wilson, with a few odd balls such as the grips and trigger.  I did all the custom work (checkered front strap, tang cuts for the bevertail, relief cuts, fitting the slide, etc).  The flats are brushed and the rounds are bead blasted.    I am pretty happy with it, although I may want to grind off that extended slide stop.  Let me know what you think.
