6.5mm or 6.9mm night sights?

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 6.5mm or 6.9mm night sights?

I'm looking for a set of night sights to replace the standard factory sights on my Gen 4 19. I'm looking on Glockmeister's website and they have two different heights available. They have 6.5mm and 6.9mm night sights. Which one will be a direct substitute for the factory sights? I'm guessing the 6.5mm? Are the 6.9mm for use with a suppressor or something?

+0 (6.5) works best on 9/40/357 guns except the 26,27,33
+1 (6.9) works best with 10/45 guns and the 26,27,33

Thanks. That makes it sound like the 6.5 would work best for my 19.

Correct.

I've never seen anyone put the taller sights on the subcompacts. Everyone I've seen aftermarket sites on it has had the normal small frame (6.5) or a special type that extends toward the rear a bit to add a hair of sight radius.
