What is the difference between mag for the G22 and G31? I haven't been able to get any 15rd mags for my G35 but I can get some G31 mags and I'm wondering if they will work. I would think so but I'm wondering if anyone has tried it.

they are the same. all .40s&w and .357 sig mags are the same.

357 sig is a necked down .40 same case (except for the neck), therefore same mag

Yeah I knew they should be very close. I thought I had heard there was a different follower in the 357 mags. I guess I know when I shoot next, not really worried though.

I think the follower in the G31 mag is different.....It will be stamped 357, instead of 40.

And, the back of the mag should have 357 stamped in it, like the G22 has .40 stamped in it.

But, I don't KNOW this for fact, as Glockmeister didn't bring any G31 mag's to the Tucson gunshow this week.

He did have the G31 barrels, so, 1/2 of the conversion kit is in place. I know I can use my G22 mag's, but I want the G31 mag's to use with the G31 barrel, so that I don't screw something up and try and shoot a .40 bullet out of a .357 sig barrel!

I got a reply back from Glockmeister that said they are the same. I guess I'll find out for sure when I shoot it.

I don't think it would be possible to chamber a 40 cal bullet in a 357 sig barrel, though the other way around would be bad, very bad.

Saw a .40 fired in a .45 chamber last week. Locked the gun up. He had to run a rod down the barrel to free the case. No other damage. 1911 BTW.
