Alright, who all thinks that the 40 S&W is to much for the P2000 SK.  Ive seen mixed reviews about it, some people say the recoil is not that bad, others say its unbearable.

I do not want a 9, as much as I like the 357 SIG I will not buy another until the ammo prices come down and more readily available.  SO, that leaves 40.

I got a nine and its quite a shooter. I have the full size in .40 just got it. I dont feel under gunned with the nine knowing how good I shoot the pistol. Its my carry piece for now till I test out the full size P2000. The nine has very manageable recoil and with quality ammo it should do the jobif I do my part. FWIW I like the feel of the subcompact better after handling them for a couple of days. Im gonna try to get the flat plate for the full size model to see if that makes it a little more compact for the summer. You wont be disappointed regardless of caliber with the sk. But a 357sk is next on my list of black guns.

I like the idea of having a 357SIG, but if I have to hunt for the ammo and pay a ton of money to shoot it, Im not going to mess with it.  I have a XD 357 SIG and it cost to much to shoot so I traded it.

My gf who is 5'4 110lbs have P2000sk 40sw. She loves it. Not too much recoil.  Of course it has little more recoil than 40sw USPc.

If someone think p2000sk 40sw has a recoil, try G26. I love glocks but G26 9mm has as much FELT recoil as 357sigs.

I agree 100%.  My Wife is 4'11 115lbs and loves the HK p2000SK 9mm.  She has short fingers and found a lot of double action triggers to far forward.  She also could not pull alot of double action without a struggle.  When she felt and pulled the trigger on the HK p2000SK she loved it.  She also could not release alot of pistols slides and had no problem releasing the HK P2000SK slide.  Now I have to buy another for her, because I love the P2000SK.

The P2000SK 9mm has almost no felt recoil! It actually threw me way off when I first shot it.  I was expecting some real recoil out of a short barrel.  The felt recoil was less then the G19 I have been carrying.

I'll say that my .40 P2000SK has more recoil than the USP FS .40, but then...well, you get the idea.

I like it for CCW, but I'm not a target shooter. For me, it's a purely defensive firearm.
