Gentlemen,

Need opinions for a 3-gun / camping gun.

Full size or compact?

Comments and suggestions, please.

For 3-gun I'd say fullsize.

IIRC the mag capacity for the USPc in .45 is 8 rounds.  In a 3-gun match chances are you won't be able to go 8+1.

The fullsize will give you 12 rounds and a longer sight radius.  Less reloading and can aid in making you a better shot.

I carry my USP tac in .40 when I go camping and don't find the size difficult.  I use the same gun for 3-gun as well.

I wouldn't wish to shoot 3 Gun with a Compact, IMO. Nor would I wish to CCL the fullsize. In arfcom tradition, you must get BOTH!
