There are two models of Advantage Arms 1911 kit, Target and standard. I have the newest model Standard kit and use it on my RIA frame. With the recommended Remington golden bullets it is very reliable and the slide locks back on the last round. The standard model has adjustable target sights and the whole slide moves. I've not shot my AA kit past 15 yards but it shoots better than I can hold it even at that close distance. The Target model is a copy of the Marvel and only the rear of the slide moves. The only issue I've had with my standard kit is the guide rod will become loose and the slide will fail to lock back. I've only had this kit about 2 months and only have a couple hundred rounds through it. The accuracy of the new Target model may be the same as the Marvel, I read where AA was building the Marvel kits but I have no first hand knowledge of this. I really like the AA kit better than the Kimber and Ciener kits which I've also used. The standard AA kit recommends hi velocity ammo while the Target model is supposed to work with standard velocity and target ammo.
