I know this has been covered alot before but did a search and couldnt find anything. Was the Marvel  the Ciener or Advantage Arms the best one? I thought most people said Marvel?

depends what do you want it for?  i have about $600 into a marvel conversion unit one that prints less than 3/8 group at 50 yards.  mine is used for bullseye competion on teh line at camp perry nationals.  are you going for accuracy at 50 yards or beer can shooting at 10? all i have experiance with is the marvel and its great for what i do.

I want it for the accuracy, and one the best quality. Looking at there Unit 1.

I was debating on getting a Browning Buckmark but sounds like you can get as good of accuracy from a conversion? Is that true?

My Unit 2 shoots so much better than I do it is almost funny. I have had youngsters, with better eyes than I have now, tear up 3" Shoot-n-See's at 25yds using bulk Federal Hi-Vel with it. Marvel all the way for me.

You might also care about how picky the thing is? My Tactical Solutions will eat any .22 long rifle I have run through it and it holds the slide open with their mags.
It is no where close to 3/8 inch at 50 yards but it is about 3/4 inch at 25 yards in my hands.

There are two models of Advantage Arms 1911 kit, Target and standard.  I have the newest model Standard kit and use it on my RIA frame.  With the recommended Remington golden bullets it is very reliable and the slide locks back on the last round.  The standard model has adjustable target sights and the whole slide moves.  I've not shot my AA kit past 15 yards but it shoots better than I can hold it even at that close distance.  The Target model is a copy of the Marvel and only the rear of the slide moves.  The only issue I've had with my standard kit is the guide rod will become loose and the slide will fail to lock back.   I've only had this kit about 2 months and only have a couple hundred rounds through it.  The accuracy of the new Target model may be the same as the Marvel, I read where AA was building the Marvel kits but I have no first hand knowledge of this.  I really like the AA kit better than the Kimber and Ciener kits which I've also used.  The standard AA kit recommends hi velocity ammo while the Target model is supposed to work with standard velocity and target ammo.
