I've ordered a decent stock of factory mags for my new 245. I'd like to have a set of range mags that aren't so pricey as long as they feed and function properly. So I ask the 245 and 220 owners if they use the lowly ProMag successfuly for this purpose?

(I titled this thread to 220 owners since I got no response to my 245 mag thread; more 220 owners around).

They suck. Seen them jam a bunch in two different P220's. The Promags I have for my P228 work very well. Agree that the ACTMAGS are the way to go.

I'm not surprised that Promags have lived up to their reputation. This 245 is the fourth Sig I've owned(three still with me), and by far the most elusive for easy access to goodies.

I just checked the Act-Mag website, which is idle for upgrade right now. Anyone have a link to a retailer?

My ProMag worked twice feeding 8 rounds both times. After that I wouldn't feed properly and it wounldn't hold the block back at the end if the magazine. Dont waste your money.
