I purchased a 20rd mag for the Para line of pistols at a gunshow today.  It was aftermarket (Pro Mag) and I bought it knowing it may not be reliable.  What I am looking to do is see if it can be made reliable.  Anyone tried them out?  I have not had a chance to try it in my P14, but since Novak's crew installed a Wolff recoil spring I'm betting it won't keep up.

So...  Wolff offers custom springs for the Paras... anyone here tried these?  I love the idea of having a reliable 20rd mag for home defense (and wish Para would make them -- hint, hint if they read these!).  :)

Thanks.

Kev

Have you considered the magazine extensions used by competitive shooters?

Do you mean the ones from Arredondo?   I thought they were just base pad extensions.  I might try them, but if there are springs that reliably work for base pads, should they also work in the mag I bought.  I figured having the mag body to work with would be half the battle.
