A friend has a PPK made in 1965. Any idea how much it is worth or where to go to find out more info about it? It is in excellent condition.

Try Guns America and see listings.  Condition and the fact it's German... cal S/B .380  Stainless PPK here in Vegas is about $400 at 2 locations.  Don't know would go about $500 for NIB myself.

Thanks. They are @$750 and up for the 1960s vintage on GA. Good for a rough idea of the value for him.

Also a big role in finding a good value for the PPK is the caliber
.22lr seam to be going at high prices.....
also .... is there a factory test-target ? instructions ? original matching box ?
all those things matter to collectors since you say it is in excellent condition.... it wouldn't matter that much to a shooter
