i have a Fire storm 1911 that i installed an extended trigger in.  i want to minimize my take-up and over travel but when i drop the hammer and hold the trigger back and run the slide.  when i reset the trigger it moves forward and i get a tactile click but can't drop the hammer.  if i let the trigger out a little more it clicks again and then i can pull the trigger and make the hammer drop.  where is the first click coming from?  

Sounds like something is hanging up between the trigger bar and the sear spring interacting.
